Afghanistan January 29 Public Holiday Announced

The government of Afghanistan has declared Monday, January 29, 2018, as a one-off public holiday in Afghanistan "to free up resources in order to help those affected by Saturday’s bombing."

The aforementioned announcement that Monday, January 29, 2018, had been declared as a one-off public holiday in Afghanistan is in addition to the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan, for the calendar year 2018 (16-Jan-2017).
