The government of Afghanistan has declared Tuesday, November 20, 2018, as an official non-working public holiday in Afghanistan on the occasion of the annual Birthday celebration of prophet Mohammad ("Milad al Nabi").

As in past years (2015-12-19, 2014-01-11, 2013-01-21, 2011-02-14 and 2010-12-09), the aforementioned announcement that Tuesday, November 20, 2018, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Afghanistan on the occasion of the annual Birthday celebration of prophet Mohammad ("Milad al Nabi"), confirms the announcement, earlier this year (2018-01-10), by the government of Afghanistan, of the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan, for the calendar year 2018.
