Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouli, has announced that Monday, July 23, 2018, had been declared as a non-working official public holiday in Egypt for all ministries, government bodies and the public sector companies, to mark the 66th anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

Earlier this week (2018-07-16), Egypt's Central Bank similarly announced that all Egyptian banks would be closed on Monday, July 23, 2018, a date which has been declared a bank holiday in Egypt on account of the upcoming anniversary of the 1952 revolution public holiday, in line with the list of annual non-working public holidays in Egypt for the calendar year 2018 (2018-01-06).
