Moldovan 9-Day Public Holidays

Moldova's Cabinet has decided to declare Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, August 28-29-30, 2018, as a one-off bridge public sector holidays in Moldova to link one weekend and the annual August 27 public holiday and the next weekend and the annual August 31 public holiday of Moldova.

The declaration of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, August 28-29-30, 2018, as a one-off bridge public sector holidays in Moldova, was originally originally hinted at earlier this month, in addition to the list of 2018 annual non-working public holidays in Moldova ("Proiect H.G. Cu privire la transferul unor zile de odihnă în anul 2018"), amended by adding 4 one-off 2018 non-working public holidays in Moldova to the annual official list of non-working public holidays in Moldova for the calendar year 2018 (2018-01-24 and 2018-01-15).

As usual (2018-04-14, 2017-05-24, 2017-04-26, 2016-08-25, 2016-05-30, 2016-03-01, 2015-12-16, 2015-10-26, 2013-12-07, 2013-02-08, 2012-02-22 and 2011-08-10), the aforementioned decision by the Moldovan Cabinet of Ministers to declare Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, August 28-29-30, 2018, as one-off non-working public holidays will be compensated by Saturday, September 8, September 29, and October 20, 2018, being declared regular working day in Moldova.
