Nigerian 2018-2019 Year-End Public Holidays

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has announced that the Nigerian Government, had declared Tuesday, December 25, 2018, Wednesday, December 26, 2018, and Tuesday, January 1, 2019, as non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria "for the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year celebrations".

The aforementioned declaration of Tuesday, December 25, 2018, Wednesday, December 26, 2018, and Tuesday, January 1, 2019, as non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria, is as expected and in line with past announcements (2017-12-20, 2016-12-23, 2015-12-30, 2015-12-22, 2015-12-17, 2014-12-19, 2013-12-20, 2012-12-17 and 2011-12-21).
