The Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, Sir Bob Dadae, declared Monday, June 11, 2018, as a non-working public holiday in Papua New Guinea, on account of the Queen's official birthday on the second Saturday in June.
The aforementioned announcement that Monday, June 11, 2018, is a non-working public holiday in Papua New Guinea is in line with the announced annual gazetted official list of appointed non-working public holidays in Papua New Guinea for the calendar year 2018, as announced by the then Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, Michael Ogio, last autumn (2017-10-11).
