Romania Rules-Out Extended May Public Holidays

The Romanian Ministry of Labor and Communication has denied rumours that May 29, 30 and 31, would be declared as one-off bridge public holidays in Romania, to link the upcoming Pentecost Monday public holiday of Romania with the June 1, Children's Day, public holiday of Romania.

International Children's Day, on June 1st, became a public holiday in Romania 2 years ago, effective last year (2016-11-17, 2016-10-18, 2016-09-15, 2016-06-13, and 2016-04-08).
