Following the recent gazetting of the 2019 public holidays in the last of Spain's autonomous regions, the national government of Spain has gazetted its annual list of official national non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain for the upcoming calendar year 2019.

The aforementioned "Resolución de la Dirección General de Empleo, por la que se publica la relación de fiestas laborales para el año 2019", which lists the 2019 nationwide non-working public holidays in Spain is supplemented by 2 additional non-working public holidays declared by each of Spain's autonomous regions (2018-10-10, 2018-10-07, 2018-09-29, 2018-09-25, 2018-09-14, 2018-09-13, 2018-08-31, 2018-08-28, 2018-08-26, 2018-08-05, 2018-08-04, 2018-07-30, 2018-07-27, 2018-07-26, 2018-07-13, 2018-07-10, 2018-07-07, 2018-07-04, 2018-07-03, 2018-07-03, 2018-06-29, 2018-06-26, 2018-06-08, 2018-05-22, 2018-05-19, 2018-04-21, 2018-04-04, 2018-03-22, 2018-03-17), as well as 2 municipal non-working public holidays for each municipality.

Despite indications, almost a decade ago (2013-11-18), that some mid-week public holidays might be moved to adjoin a nearby weekend, as had been raised shortly after the current/preceding government was elected (2012-01-12), no such move was made in 2019, as it was not for the past years (2017-10-12, 2016-10-09 and 2015-10-23).
