Bolivian October Women Day Public Holiday

Bolivia's Minister of Labour has issued a communique announcing that Friday, October 11, 2019, beginning at 12:30pm, would be a non-working public holiday in Bolivia for Bolivian Women's Day Día de la Mujer Boliviana as a compulsory non-working public holiday in Bolivia for both the private and public sectors.

As usual (2018-10-10, 2017-10-10 and 2016-10-10), the aforementioned announcement ("Esta disposición se adopta en cumplimiento a lo dispuesto por el Decreto Ley 7352 de 5 de octubre de 1965, que declaró el 11 de octubre de cada año como el Día de la Mujer Boliviana, en homenaje a la educadora y poetisa Adela Zamudio") refers itself to the Decreto Ley 07352 de 11 de octubre de 1965 and the later Decreto Supremo 17081 de 1979 and is limited to women employees.
