The Cabinet of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) has approved and announced the annual list of, and dates of, official non-working public holidays for 2020 in the British Virgin Islands, in accordance with Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (Cap 199), as amended, and this list of 2020 public holidays in the British Virgin Islands is contained in a communique by the Information Officer of the Dept. of Information and Public Relations of the British Virgin Islands.

Once again (2018-10-19, 2017-11-07, 2016-10-13, 2015-10-05, 2014-09-15, 2013-10-11, 2012-10-20 and 2011-09-23), acting in accordance with Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (Cap 199), as amended, but contrary to what happened in some past years (2016-02-08, 2010-04-26 and 2009-03-05), the aforementioned announced list of the official public holidays for 2020 in the British Virgin Islands, does not contain any errors, although, as usual the date of the Sovereign’s Birthday public holiday on the British Virgin Islands is marked as "to be confirmed" (2019-03-28).
