British Virgin Islands Queen's Birthday 2019 Public Holiday

The department of information and public relations of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) government has issued a communiqué, advising the public "that Friday, June 7 is a Public Holiday; and the annual birthday celebration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is scheduled for that date".

The aforementioned announcement that "Friday, June 7 is a Public Holiday; and the annual birthday celebration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II" is in line with last autumn's annual list of, and dates of, official non-working public holidays for 2019 in the British Virgin Islands, as announced by the cabinet of the British Virgin Islands, in accordance with Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (2018-10-19, 2017-11-07, 2016-10-13, 2015-10-05, 2014-09-15, 2013-10-11, 2012-10-20 and 2011-09-23).
