Gambia Extends 2019 Eid ul-Fitr Public Holidays

The President of the Gambia, Adama Barrow, has announced that the upcoming annual non-working public holiday in the Gambia for the Eid ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) would be extended from its previously-announced date of Tuesday, June 4, 2019, to last 2 days.

Today's announcement, once again (2017-06-22, 2018-08-20, 2016-09-09), extends a Muslim public holiday of the Gambia for a second day.
