The government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh has revised its published list of 2019 non-working public holidays by removing the previously-announced additional public holiday for Navami from its list of 2019 regional public holidays in Himachal Pradesh.
Recall that, earlier this month (2019-09-07), the government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh had declared an additional non-working public holiday on Monday, October 7, 2019, on account of the upcoming Navami.
The aforementioned announcement that the government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh had canceled the previously-announced public holiday on Monday, October 7, 2019, thus amends, for a third time (2019-09-07, 2019-05-01 and 2019-04-15), the notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Himachal Pradesh for the upcoming calendar year 2019, as contained in a Government Notification, issued late last year (2018-12-10), in which only Maha Ashtami and Dussehra were gazetted holidays in 2019 in Himachal Pradesh.
