The government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh has declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Sunday, May 19, 2019, on account of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The aforementioned announcement that the government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh has declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Sunday, May 19, 2019, on account of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, thus amends the notification of the annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Himachal Pradesh for the upcoming calendar year 2019, as contained in a Government Notification, issued late last year (2018-12-10).
