The Joint Secretary to Government of the Government of India's state of Odisha has announced the annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Odisha for the upcoming calendar year 2020 (Saka Era 1941-1942).
As per custom (2018-11-12, 2017-11-15 and 2016-10-31), the aforementioned notification of the annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Odisha for the upcoming calendar year 2020, are contained in the Government Notification "RDM-Reg-REGN-0050-2019-32559, Dated 23.10.2019" issued by the General Administration department of Odisha ("The Government of Odisha have been pleased to declare under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881), read with the Notification of Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs No. 20-25-56-Public-l dated the 8th June, 1957, the Public Holidays, expressly defined in the said explanation, that the Banks and other Banking Institutions etc. in Odisha, will remain closed on the days as Public Holidays for the Calendar Year-2020 and Saka-Era1941-42, as listed at Annexure -A").
