Indian Delhi Declares Chhath Puja Public Holiday November 2

The general administration department of the Government of India's Delhi NCT (National Capital Territory), via its Labour Minister, Gopal Rai, has announced that the Delhi Government had declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Delhi on Saturday, November 2, 2019, on account of Chhath Puja, a festival predominantly observed in the Indian states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The aforementioned declaration of a public holiday on Saturday, November 2, 2019, on account of Chhath Puja, thus further amends (2019-03-18) the terms of the "Holidays to be observed in Central Government Offices during the year 2019" (2018-12-14).
