Iranian 2019-2020 Public Holidays Announced

The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), has announced the annual official list of non-working public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1397, running from March 21, 2019, to March 20, 2020.

The aforementioned list of official public holidays in Iran for 2019-2020 is the same as in recent years (2018-03-23, 2017-03-26, 2016-03-12, 2015-03-15, 2014-03-08, 2013-03-11, 2012-03-24, 2011-03-05, 2010-03-16, 2009-03-04, 2008-03-11, and 2007-03-08), most notably still including all five annual public holidays that were meant to have been canceled in 2005 by Iran's Majles Social Committee (2005-08-18).

The aforementioned definitive and official list of public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1396, running from March 21, 2019, to March 20, 2020, for the sixth year, adds a second day to the End of Ramadan, 2019 Eid-e-Fitr public holidays in Iran.
