Iranian Moves Public Holiday To May 27

The government of Iran has announced that the upcoming public holiday of Iran, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali, would be moved to Monday, May 27, 2019.

The aforementioned moving of the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Ali annual non-working public holiday of Iran, to Monday, May 27, 2019, thus amends the list of official public holidays in Iran for 2019-2020, for the Persian year 1397, running from March 21, 2019, to March 20, 2020, announced a couple of months ago (2019-03-13).
