The government of the Ivory Coast, has announced that Saturday, June 1, 2019, had been declared a nationwide non-working public holiday in the Ivory Coast ("jour férié et chômé sur toute l'étendue du territoire national"), on account of the upcoming "Nuit du destin" (Laylat al-Qadr) annual non-working public holiday of the Ivory Coast.
Contrary to what happened in past years (2012-08-18), but not all (2018-05-29, 2015-07-11), the Government announcement that Saturday, June 1, 2019, had been declared as the date of the annual national non-working public holiday for the upcoming Night of Destiny, did not need to invoke Article 2 of the Décret n°96-205 du 07 mars 1996 (1996-05-09).
