The Central Bank of Jordan has announced its annual list of religious and national non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Jordan for the upcoming calendar year 2020.
As usual (2018-10-18, 2017-11-05, 2016-10-15, 2015-10-22, 2014-12-21, 2013-12-23, 2012-12-31, 2012-01-30, 2010-12-15, 2009-12-20 and 2008-12-15), the aforementioned announcement of the list of religious and national non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Jordan for the upcoming calendar year 2020, states that "Islamic Holidays are approximate and may change according to the Lunar Calendar" and that "National Holidays will fall on the previous day of the weekend or on the next following day" and, finally, that "The Central Bank of Jordan will announce later any additional holidays whether in observance of any special or unforeseen occasions also of any alteration to the above mentioned holidays".
