Liberian Public Holidays August 24 and 26

The President of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a proclamation declaring Monday, August 26, 2019, as non-working public holidays to be observed throughout the Republic of Liberia as national non-working public holidays on account of National Flag Day which falls on Saturday, August 24, 2019, this calendar year.

The aforementioned National Flag Day public holiday was set aside as an annual non-working public holiday by an Act approved on October 25, 1915 by the National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia.
