The French department of Mayotte has announced that Monday, August 12, 2019, would be the date of the upcoming annual non-working public holiday in Mayotte on the occasion of the upcoming Ide-El-Kebir (aka. Eid al-Adha or Feast of Sacrifice).

As per the aforementioned announcement from the Conseil Départemental de Mayotte, the declaration of Monday, August 12, 2019, as the date of the upcoming annual non-working public holiday in Mayotte on the occasion of the Feast of Sacrifice, was based on the sighting of the Moon's nascent crescent last night ("l’observation hier de la Nouvelle Lune a permis au conseil cadial d’annoncer l’Ide-El-Kebir pour ce 12 août").

Mayotte became a department of France in 2011, following a referendum 2 years before that (2011-03-29 and 2009-03-28) and contrary to the rest of France observes 4 Muslim public holidays (2019-03-14 and 2016-09-03).
