Melilla 2020 Public Holidays Gazetted

The Consejo de Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla has released and gazetted its calendario laboral, the annual official list of 2020 non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Melilla, in the Boletín Oficial de Melilla (BOME).

As per the aforementioned "Acuerdo de 30 de septiembre de 2019 de la Ciudad Autonoma de Melilla, del Consejo de Gobierno, relativo a la aprobacion del Calendario Laboral para el año 2020", the March 19 annual public holiday will be compensated, once again (2018-09-29, 2017-10-08, 2016-10-04, 2015-09-17, 2014-09-27, 2013-10-05 and 2012-10-10) by the inclusion of a public holiday for the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, its date in Melilla having been set to July 31, 2020, as was done in neighboring Ceuta last month (2019-09-27).

In addition, there will be a one-off public holiday December 7, 2020.
