The Mongolian government has announced that, at today's Cabinet meeting, it was decided to declare Tuesday, September 3, 2019, as a non-working public holiday in Mongolia, on account of the upcoming commemoration of "the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Khalkhiin Gol Battle".
A few years ago (2016-12-15), the Mongolian government had similarly announced that Thursday, December 29, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday in Mongolia, on account of the upcoming commemoration of Mongolian "105th jubilee of the Victory of National Liberation Movement and the Restoration of Independence of Mongolia".
Today's announcement, as the one of 2016 above, is in addition to the current public holidays legislation of Mongolia (2017-05-30, 2014-07-01 and 2016-05-23), and in the present case, Saturday, September 7, 2019, will be a regular working day.
