Nepales Declares October 30 Public Holiday for Kija Pooja

Nepalese Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Prem Kumar Rai, has announced that government cabinet of Nepal had declared Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the day following the upcoming Bhai Tika, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Nepal.

The aforementioned declaration of Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the day following the upcoming Bhai Tika, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Nepal, is in addition to the gazetted list of official announcement (2019-03-15) for the Nepalese year B.S. 2076 (April 2019-April 2020), which only included Tihar public holidays from October 27-29, 2019, inclusively.
