The Ministry of Home Affairs of Nepal has announced that Friday, September 13, 2019, had been declared as the date of this year's Indra Jatra non-working public holiday in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley, namely the three districts of Kathmandu Federal Capital, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur.
Today's announcement that Friday, September 13, 2019, had been declared as the date of this year's Indra Jatra non-working public holiday in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley, is in line with this spring's announcement (2019-03-15) of the gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year B.S. 2076 (April 2019-April 2020), contrary to what happened some years (2015-09-25, 2013-09-16, and 2011-09-08), though not all (2016-09-12).
