Pakistan To Announce Muslim Public Holidays For 5 Years

Federal minister for science and technology of Pakistan, Fawad Chaudhry, has announced that a new 5 years lunar calendar will soon be finalized.

The aforementioned announcement, made at a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee for Science and Technology, would allow for a longer-term forecast of annual non-working public holidays in Pakistan (2019-01-09, 2018-01-27, 2016-12-25, 2016-02-01, 2015-01-12, 2014-01-09, 2013-04-02, 2012-01-15).
