The Peruvian executive has extended its earlier declaration of Friday, July 26, 2019, as a one-off, half-day, non-working public holiday in Peru, on account of the upcoming Pan-American Games being held in Lima in 2019 ("Juegos Panamericanos"), by similarly declaring Saturday, July 27, 2019 as a Día no laborable non-working public holiday.
The announcement that Friday, July 26, 2019, would be one-off non-working public holidays in Peru, was made earlier this year (2019-05-16), and was in addition to the list of 2019 public holidays in Peru, as released, earlier this year, by the government of Peru (2019-01-04).
