Philippines Public Sector Holiday October 31

The Executive Secretary to the Office of the President of the Philippines has announced that Malacañang had declared a one-off afternoon non-working public sector holiday, on Thursday, October 31, 2019, beginning at 12:00 noon, "to provide government employees full opportunity to properly observe All Saints Day, and to allow them to travel to and from the different regions in the country", before the upcoming November 1 and 2, 2019, public holidays of the Philippines.

The aforementioned declaration of a one-off afternoon non-working public sector holiday, in the Philippines, on Thursday, October 31, 2019, beginning at 12:00 noon, is in addition to the list of 2019 non-working public holidays in the Philippines, as set out in Proclamation No. 555, s. 2018, released last year (2018-08-17).
