The Chief Minister of Malaysia's State of Sabah, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, has announced that Sabah would observe December 24 as a state public holiday in the Malaysian State of Sabah, from this year onward.
Today's announcement that Malaysia's State of Sabah would observe a public holiday on December 24, from this year onward, thus further amends the "Jadual Hari Kelepasan Am Negeri 2019" (State Public Holiday Schedule 2019), jointly released last year (2018-09-01), and the annual official Federal Public Holidays Schedule 2020 and State Public Holiday Schedule 2020 released this past summer (2019-07-08).
