Sudan Declares Decemer 25 Public Holiday

Sudan's Religion Affairs and Endowments Minister, Nasraddeen Mufreh, has announced that the cabinet of ministers, of the Sudanese transitional government, had approved the declaration of Christmas Day, on December 25, as an official public holiday in the Sudan.

The aforementioned declaration of Christmas Day, on December 25, as an official public holiday in the Sudan, thus amends the list of 2019 public holidays in the Sudan, as released, earlier this year, by the preceding government's Secretariat General of the Sudanese Council of Ministers (2019-01-18), as per custom (2018-01-31, 2017-02-12, 2016-01-02 and 2015-01-22).
