Thailand's Government has announced that, with immediate effect, Queen Suthida’s birthday, on June 3, would become a new annual non-working public holiday in Thailand.
The aforementioned announcement that Queen Suthida’s birthday, on June 3, would become a new annual non-working public holiday in Thailand, thus further extends (2019-02-13, 2019-01-30) the previously-released list of 2019 public holidays in Thailand (2018-09-23).
Reports indicate that the Thai government has not yet decided whether the birthday of the previous Queen, now the Queen Dowager, observed annually on August 12, would remain a public holiday in Thailand, or not.
