Ukraine 2020 Public Holidays Draft

Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy has prepared a draft resolution for the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine specifying the annual official list of 2020 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, which, as in previous years, except 2 years ago, includes a decision to postpone a working day in 2020, in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time.

In addition to the list of non-working public holidays 2020 in the Ukraine, as set out in the Government Order, as was done in the past (2019-01-10, 2018-01-11, 2017-12-08, 2016-11-15, 2016-08-17, 2015-11-12, 2014-11-17, 2014-11-13, 2013-11-21, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), an additional one-off bridge public holiday was declared in the 2020 draft of Ukrainian public holidays, to be compensated by a corresponding working Saturday.

Today's draft announcement of the official list of 2020 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, comes around the same time of the year as most previous years (2016-08-17 and 2015-09-25), except the past 2 years year (2018-12-13 and 2017-11-21), when the draft of Ukrainian public holidays for the following year was announced late in the autumn.
