The Government of India's state of Uttarakhand, on the instructions of Chief Minister, Trivendra Singh Rawat, has declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Saturday, November 2, 2019, on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
The aforementioned declaration of Saturday, November 2, 2019, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Uttarakhand, on the occasion of Chhath Puja, thus further amends (2019-06-05 and 2019-03-20) the notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Uttarakhand for the calendar year 2019 (2018-12-31), as was announced in reference to "Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Central Act 26 of 1881) read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. 20/25/56/pub-Ist dated 30.11.1957".
