The internationally recognized Yemeni government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, has declared February 11, 2020, as a public holiday in Yemen "to mark the sixth anniversary of the start of an uprising that ended three decades of rule by President Ali Abdullah Saleh".
The aforementioned announcement of the declaration of February 11, 2020, as a public holiday in Yemen, is in addition to the Law No. 42 of 1997 specifying public holidays in Yemen (1997-10-21).
It is not yet clear if this February 11, 2020, public holiday in Yemen will be a one-off public holiday, or an annual public holiday of Yemen.
