Earlier tonight, Zimbabwe's Ministry of Information issued a communique announcing that the Government of Zimbabwe had declared Friday, October 25, 2019, as a public holiday in Zimbabwe to allow people to attend the day of solidarity against sanctions on Zimbabwe.

The aforementioned announcement that Friday, October 25, 2019, had been declared as a one-off public holiday in Zimbabwe, thus amends the dates for the 2019 non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe, as announced last year (2018-09-22).
