Argentina Amends 2020 Public Holidays

In an online letter written to the Argentine population, Argentina's president, Alberto Fernández, announced that the annual April 2, Malvinas' Day public holiday would be moved from its usually immovable date of April 2, to Friday, March 31, 2020, to coincide with "the culmination of a temporary isolation which will begin midnight Thursday".

The aforementioned move of the Malvinas' Day public holiday of Argentina, from April 2, to Friday, March 31, 2020, thus amends the list of 2020 public holidays in Argentina (2019-10-17), as released last autumn (DECTO-2019-717-APN-PTE – Establécense días feriados con fines turísticos).
