The Fair Work Ombudsman of Australia's Capital Territory (ACT) has amended its list of 2020 public holidays, by renaming as "Additional public holiday for Anzac Day" the recently-declared, April 27, 2020, one-off public holiday in Australia's ACT.

Late last year (2019-12-01), the Chief Minister's Office of Australia's Capital Territory (ACT) had released an amended list of the official non-working public holidays to be observed in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Australia, during the calendar year 2020 (2017-12-09).

That list included a public holiday on April 27, 2020, for both the public and private sectors ("Monday, 27 April 2020 has been declared a public holiday for all Canberrans by the Minister for Employment and Workplace Safety. The 27 April 2020 public holiday is in addition to the ANZAC Day public holiday on 25 April 2020."), despite the fact that, normally, the only Australian state that observes a day in lieu public holiday, when ANZAC Day fall on a Saturday, is Western Australia (2009-01-15).
