The Egyptian minister of manpower, Mohamed Saafan, has announced that the upcoming Eid El-Fitr public holidays marking the end of Ramadan, would be extended to 5 days, from May 24-28, 2020, inclusively.
Yesterday (2020-05-17), the Egyptian government had declared the same 5-day period as public sector holidays for Egyptian government workers, namely May 24-28, 2020, inclusively.
Both announcement thus amend the list of official 2020 public holidays in Egypt, as announced by Egypt's Central Bank, earlier this year (2020-01-13).
