Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, has issued a decree declaring a 5-day period of non-working public sector holidays in Egypt, "from Thursday 30 July to Monday 3 August", on account of the upcoming Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holidays of Egypt.
As per the aforementioned announcement, "The paid vacation is applicable to the public sector companies, ministries and governmental institutions".
A related decision by the Central Bank of Egypt, on the dates when the banks of Egypt will close for the Eid Al-Adha annual non-working bank holidays (2019-08-07, 2017-01-07 and 2016-09-09), should soon follow, as should one covering the private sector public holidays for the upcoming 2020 Eid Al-Adha in Egypt (2019-08-08).
