The Ministry of information and communication of the government of Guinea Conakry, has relayed the decision of the Ministers of Labour and of the Public Sector ("ministres en charge du Travail et de la Fonction Publique"), announcing that Wednesday, May 20, 2020, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Guinea Conakry on account of the upcoming "Laylatoul Ghadr" (Night of Destiny).

As usual (2019-06-03, 2018-06-14, 2018-06-10, 2017-06-20, 2016-07-01, 2016-04-30, 2015-09-30, 2015-04-30, 2015-01-02 and 2014-08-14), the aforementioned announcement of Muslim public holidays in Guinea Conakry is in line with last January's government of Guinea Conakry announcement (2020-01-13) of its list of 2020 non-working public holidays (jours chômés et payés) in the Republic of Guinea Conakry.
