Hungary 2021 Public Holidays Gazetted

The annual list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2021, as announced by the Government of Hungary, upon the recommendation of the Hungarian National Economy Minister, has been officially gazetted in the Hungarian Gazette No. 14 of 2020 (V. 13).

The publication of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2021 of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2021, as had been done in past years (2019-06-26, 2018-08-24, 2017-05-20, 2017-04-07, 2017-01-08, 2015-06-30, 2015-04-30, 2014-07-25, 2013-09-28, 2012-11-22, 2012-09-07, 2011-10-15, 2010-11-21, 2009-09-29, 2008-07-22, 2007-11-20, and 2006-09-12), applicable to both the private and public sectors ("A rendelet 2021. január 1-jén lép hatályba és 2022. január 1-jén hatályát veszti.").

In 2021, there will be only 1 extended weekend, a marked diminution as compared to 2019 and even 2020.
