The Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effend, has announced that the upcoming Idul Fitri (End of Ramadan) joint leave holidays, currently scheduled for May 26-29, had been moved to December 28-31, 2020 ("That's right, December 28-31 December 2020").
Today's announcement was not wholly unexpected.
Last week, president Joko Widodo had announced that he might change the dates of the upcoming end of Ramadan public holidays, due to the current Covid19 pandemic (2020-04-02), less than a month after the government of Indonesia amended its previously-released annual decree designating the list of Indonesian public holidays and collective leave days for the calendar year 2020 (2019-08-27) by adding 4 cuti bersama (2020-03-09).
