Jharkhand Chhath Public Holidays November 20-21

The Government of India's state of Jharkhand, has declared Friday and Saturday, November 20 and 21, 2020, as public holidays in Jharkhand, on account of the Chhath Puja festival.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday and Saturday, November 20 and 21, 2020, as a one-off non-working public holidays in India's state of Jharkhand thus further amends (2020-10-04 and 2020-01-22) the notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Jharkhand for the calendar year 2020, as released by the government of India's state of Jharkhand, late last year (2019-12-22).

Note that the Government of India's Delhi NCT (National Capital Territory) has also recently declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Friday, November 20, 2020, on the occasion of the upcoming Chhath Puja festival (2020-11-17).
