The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Ziad Farid, has issued the Memorandum 10/2/14289 27/2020 which announces a bank holiday on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, on account of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Today's announcement follows a similar one, yesterday (2020-11-02), when Jordanian Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, announced that Tuesday, November 10, 2020, had been declared a non-working public holiday in Jordan, on account of the upcoming 19th Parliamentary Elections.
The Memorandum 10/2/14289 27/2020 thus amends the list of religious and national non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Jordan for the calendar year 2020, as released a year ago (2019-09-17).
