Ukraine Extends Public Holidays Cancellation Until January 29

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed the Presidential Decree 1060/2026 , approved by Law 5029-IX, which extends martial law for 90 days from October 31, 2026, to January 29, 2027.
Consequently, the suspension of statutory public-holiday days off under Ukraine’s wartime labour legislation will continue through Christmas on December 25, 2026, and New Year’s Day on January 1, 2027.
These dates remain holidays in the Labour Code, but do not automatically constitute non-working days while the wartime provisions apply.
