The Chief Minister of Malaysia's State of Sabah, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, has declared tomorrow, September 26, 2020, as a one-off public holiday in Sabah "to enable the people to go out and vote in the 16th state election" and "in accordance with Section 9 of the Sabah Holidays Ordinance (Sabah Chapter 56)".
Today's announcement that Malaysia's State of Sabah had declared tomorrow, September 26, 2020, as a one-off public holiday, thus further amends (2019-12-13) the annual official Federal Public Holidays Schedule 2020 and State Public Holiday Schedule 2020 released last year (2019-07-08).
