The government of Moldova, following the last meeting of Cabinet of Ministers, has confirmed the earlier draft of the list of non-working public holidays, and bridge public sector holidays, in Moldova for the upcoming calendar year 2021.

For the past 5 consecutive years, the initial announcement of the public holidays in Moldova for the following calendar year was accompanied by a list of bridge public holidays to be compensated by a nearby Saturday being declared a regular working day in Moldova (2019-12-17, 2018-11-27, 2017-11-29, 2016-10-17 and 2015-12-28).

But, for 2021, the Moldavian government seems to have reverted to its past practice, whereby an initial list of non-working public holidays in Moldova for the upcoming calendar year would be released, and later supplemented by the announcement of individual bridge public holidays (2014-07-05, 2013-10-22, 2013-12-07, 2013-02-08, 2012-11-14, 2012-04-11, 2011-12-08, 2012-02-22, 2011-02-18, 2010-08-10, 2009-12-04 and 2008-12-10).
