New Caledonia 2021 Public Holidays Announced

The government of New Caledonia has released its annual official list of non-working public sector holidays in New Caledonia for the upcoming calendar year 2021 ("arrêté n° 2020-19502/GNC-Pr du 8 décembre 2020 relatif aux jours chômés pour les services publics de la Nouvelle-Calédonie et aux jours de fermeture pour les services de l’Etat pour l’année 2021").

As usual (2020-01-17, 2019-01-18, 2017-12-31, 2016-11-12, 2015-11-28, 2014-12-26, 2013-12-21, 2013-01-15, 2012-02-01), the aforementioned list of 2021 non-working public holidays is limited to the public sector ("Les caisses publiques, les bureaux, les ateliers et les chantiers des services publics de la Nouvelle-Calédonie et de l’État seront fermés:").

Appropriately for this time of the year, and the gift of public holidays, one of the signatories of the aforementioned arrêté, the president of the New Caledonian government is named, Thierry Santa.

Other announcements for the public and banking sectors, can soon be expected (2020-01-18, 2019-01-20, 2017-11-05 and 2018-01-07).
