Rwanda 2020 Public Holidays Announced

The Government of Rwanda has released its annual list of official non-working public holidays in Rwanda for the calendar year 2020.

As was the case in recent years (2019-01-04 and 2018-01-02), the aforementioned announcement of the list of official non-working public holidays in Rwanda for the calendar year 2020, is based on the "Presidential Order N° 54/01 Of 24/02/2017 Determining Official Public Holidays" (2017-02-26) as published in the in the Official Gazette No.11 of 13/03/2017 (2017-03-14).

Previously (2017-01-03, 2015-11-01, 2015-01-26, 2014-03-26, 2013-01-07 and 2012-01-11), the annual list of public holidays in Rwanda was governed by the "Arrêté Presidentiel N°06/01 Du 16/02/2011 Determinant Les Jours Feries Officiels" (2011-03-07) and, later, by the "Presidential Order N°42/03 Of 30/06/2015 Determining Official Holidays" (2015-07-01 and 2015-05-18).
